My daughter was privileged to be awarded a scholarship from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Ministries to attend their 1 week Evangelistic Course entitled: Dare To Be a Daniel. She will be leaving on the 19th of this month and be back on the 25th July.

It has been awhile since my last blog.
I am listening to Five for Fighting's "One Hundred Years" when I started thinking of who and what I become in the last 30 something years.
Enjoy each birthdays, have the goal of making an impact each year whether recognized or not. Don't let any year be a forgetable one. Every hurt, every pain, every smiles and every laughters should be remembered.

When I saw this video it put tears to my eyes. As you watch this video remember it's because of one man's great love to you that you are saved.

This morning News Magazine Show Good Morning America featured this dace clip. It's called Papaya Dance.
The video is from a News Magazine Show just like GMA in the Philippines where US Ambassador Kristie Kenney was a guest. You will see how funny Filipinos are, we are really not particular with your position or title we just want you to have fun with us and so if it means sing karaoke or dance the Papaya Dance will do it just to put a smile on your face.

One of the moving songs I've heard.

A woman with the latest hairstyles, cosmetics, or skin care can never compete or compare with the loveliness of a woman who has allowed Jesus to occupy every place in her heart. Sure, many women can make heads turn. But do they do the same for hearts?
A woman may walk confidently in a bikini but never know the power of being clothed with the glory of God. She may possess charm but lack grace. Carry a huge workload but never carry a candle to light the world. Run a household but never run to God. It's all vanity, it's all worthless without him.
I yearnto be a woman after Jesus' heart. A woman of faith and grace. A woman who possesses so much of Jesus that people would believe he exists because they recognize his power in me. I want to be a woman who immediately follows every request of my Lord. I desire him. I want to be beauitiful in him. Is there any other lasting beauty?
I think of Mother Teresa. What a beautiful soul. What a glory to God. She spread his fragrance to the world. Was it Giorgio? Estee Lauder? No, it was Jesus. Jesus was so evident in her; his life so undeniable; his love so obvious.
But we don't have to be Mother Teresa to impact our world. We don't have to be a tiny nun from Calcutta, India to represent true humility, servanthood, and compassion. All we have to be is a woman after God's heart.
One of my favorite verse is Psalm 34:5, "Those who look to him are radiant their faces are never covered with shame." Those who look to Jesus, are radiant. Their confidence is that of a thousand stars.
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

Tonight during my blog time in my Youth Class I posted this question, WHAT DISTRACTS YOU FROM THE WORD OF GOD?
They gave me all the things that they can think of and 2 words stood out.
WANDERING THOUGHTS

Wandering thoughts - why is that when we start reading the word of God or listen to the Word either from bible study or Sunday Service it's easy to wander we can go back all the way to our childhood days. Luke 8:12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.The enemy knows how powerful the Word of God is that He will do everything to keep us away from it.

Does your mind wander when you read God's word or listen to it? Ask the Lord to give you the strength and the ability to love Him to a point that you will enjoy hearing from Him.

Class of 2007 Graduates from Triumphant Church Fellowship Youth Team

I was listening to Avalon's song entitled You Were There from their album The Creed. Despite of my sins, my failures, my regrets, my short memory, he was always there and will be there, because that's the kind of God He is.

This song really took me back to those days when no one was there, when no one will understand, that lonely dark place, that fearful and fiercely battle, He was telling me I was there with you I cried with you and I pictured Jesus hanging on the cross alone in pain not just because of the bruises but because God the father for the first time turn His back on Him because He can't be in the midst of sin and Jesus bear all our faults and all our sins. That was a lot.

But, only through His mercy and grace am I here, only through the blood of Jesus I can stand and proclaim God's goodness whether it be a song or in casual conversation. He is God  but more than that He is  my Father  who created me and designed me to fulfill His purpose in my life. God is clearly showing me that every fiber of my being is designed by Him in order for me to fulfill His purpose and realize my destiny.
